Green Rock Manufacturing Group Achieves BRCGS ‘A’ Grade Certification for Packaging Materials
Green Rock Manufacturing Group is proud to announce the successful achievement of BRCGS certification for Packaging Materials at our UK site in Wrexham, marking another important milestone in our mission to offer the highest standards in truly environmentally friendly packaging.
This marks the first time we have undergone this prestigious accreditation audit, and we are thrilled to have reached this stage in our journey. Managing Director Steve Granville commented:
“This achievement reinforces our dedication to being the UK’s most reliable and trusted manufacturer of the most eco-friendly paper cups on the market. It reflects our unwavering commitment to delivering the highest-quality products and service to our customers.”
Following a comprehensive audit in February 2025, Green Rock was awarded an ‘A’ grade under the BRCGS Standard for Packaging Materials (Issue 6, August 2019). This certification reflects our ongoing commitment to product safety, quality, and operational excellence.
The certification covers the blanking and forming of paperboard to produce single and double wall cups for both hot and cold beverages, including certified plastic-free paperboard, as well as outsourced printing and material storage.
A huge credit goes to our Quality & BRC Manager, Alana Corbett, Quality Supervisor, Danny Granville, and the entire Quality and Production team for their leadership and dedication throughout this process.
This achievement reinforces Green Rock’s position at the forefront of sustainable manufacturing. From our use of certified plastic-free and PFAS-free materials to our commitment to local production and reduced carbon footprints, every aspect of our business is driven by integrity, transparency, and a responsibility to the environment.
